A taste of Friday at Sebring
It's been quite another long day, and tomorrow will prove to be even longer, but in the meantime have a taste of some of the action from today. LMP went as expected with Peugeot taking top honors in qualifying, but just as expected for the race, GT2 is where it was at. Watching the cars bump, bounce and bobble through turn one I would have figured the Risi car to be in the top three, but after the dust settled it was as follows: RLR BMW 1st, Flying Lizard Porsche 2nd, and Falken Tire Porsche (with Wolf Henzler driving) followed up in 3rd. Controversy in tech inspection however found the BMW moved to the back of the pack, so Porsche takes 1-2 in qualifying, and Team Falken Tire take a very impressive position of 2nd in class. Race day is tomorrow, expect updates all day! Unless of course AT&T has anything to do with it, as the service at the track is quite spotty...
