We're just one week away. At this time next week Josh and I will have already picked up our credentials from the SVRA (thanks again Alan!), and will be enjoying the one-hour vintage enduro in sunny-and-75 Sebring Florida. It's a vacation of sorts that I am very much looking forward to.
I'm particularly keen on seeing how the Falken entry in GT2 fairs on the long runs against the known quantities of other teams like Risi and Lizard. They were second fastest in all of GT2 in testing, and fastest of the Porsche cars, a very impressive feat in and of itself. It's very exciting to see a fairly young, fairly small tire company put so much on the line in the name of research and development, going up against the best in the business with a wholly owned in-house team, two Porsche werks drivers (Wolf Henzler & Patrick Pilet) and the only 2010 spec car in the series.
